HINTS & TIPSUSING THE EMBOSSING HEAT TOOL We recommend you practise first on cheap plain paper or card to get the hang of it! METHOD: Gently press rubber stamp into embossing ink pad to wet surface area of image and stamp onto suitable card or paper.
Designed to have a gentle stream of hot air so as not to blow the embossing powder around our heatguns have a small, defined airflow ensuring that hot air is well targeted. This avoids other areas of the paper or card getting heated unnecessarily. Specifically designed to be repeatedly switched on and off for several small projects. They will not scorch the paper or card. With care a heat gun will give years of use.
USE AND CARE OF CLEAR STAMPS We recommend you practise first on cheap plain paper or card to get the hang of it! Carefully peel off stamp from acetate sheet, centre on acrylic block and press into place - it will adhere with static cling. Gently press stamp into embossing pad checking for complete coverage. Stamp image onto your card or paper by looking through acrylic block for perfect position. Press down firmly. Cover stamped image with embossing powder and then gently tap off excess powder. Heat with embossing tool as above. After use gently clean your clear stamp with warm soapy water, rinse and press softly into kitchen paper towel to dry. Replace stamp on acetate sheet. Keep clean and dry away from diret sunlight or high temperatures. Do no use with solvent-based inks or cleaners as they will gradually destroy the quality of the stamp.
